The Calendars of Events are completely dominated by Easter, there are over 25 Parade programmes!! From Friday the 8th April through to Easter Sunday on the 16th April there are day time, night time, silent, bare feet, candle lit and even drum processions! Many of the fiestas have been declared as being of International Tourist Interest so are well worth experiencing.

Remember that both Thursday 13th and Friday 14th are Public Holidays in Spain, so many of the local shops and businesses will be closed.

Costa Blanca South

There are small Easter parades in Guardamar del Segura, Dolores, Jacarilla, Catral, Santa Pola, Rojales, Los Montesinos and Pilar de la Horadada. The processions in Torrevieja, Almoradi and Aspe have all been declared as being of Tourist Interest, whilst the much larger celebrations in Orihuela, Crevillent, Alicante and Elche are all listed as International Tourist Interest. There will be a Baroque Market in Elda, Model Naval Boats in the Park of Nations in Torrevieja, Miniature Steam Trains in Torrellano and Elche CF play at home on Sunday kicking off at 16:00 against Sevila At.
