Couple on coach trip complain about how long they spent on a coach
A couple who went on a coach trip around Scotland complained that they spent so long on a coach.
Derek and Julia Limbert paid £699 for the five-day coach trip, but were unhappy that 62 hours of the coach holiday was on a coach.
The tour firm behind the coach trip, Diamond Holidays, had promised a coach drive around Oban, Mull, Iona and Skye in the Scottish Highlands.
‘It was a disaster from start to finish,’ Derek Limbert, 74, said. ‘We had paid for a tour of Scotland but what we got was a tour of the inside of a coach, our only visits were to go to the loo in service stations.
‘I would have seen more of the Scottish Highlands if I’d stayed at home and looked the places up on the internet.
Take care – These people walk among us … There was a clue when they booked this – it didn´t advertise the trip as a private Taxi service … 🙂
